Alexis Van Cutsem
(Antwerp, 22-11-1977) obtained a law degree at the Catholic University of Louvain in 2001.
In the same year he joined Fransen Advocaten (now Fransen Luyten).
In 2005 he worked with Holman Fenwick & Willan in Paris.
In 2010 he worked as a legal counsel with the United Nations in Quito (Ecuador).
Alexis specialises in all aspects of transport law and international trade law and deals mostly with shipping related matters (in particular cargo claims, commercial disputes and admiralty claims).
Alexis pleads in Dutch and French, is fluent in English and Spanish and reads German.
