(Antwerp, 15-01-1976) obtained a law degree at the University of Antwerp in 2001.
Vincent has also completed a special course on “Customs and VAT-law in international commerce” and obtained a post graduate degree in “bankruptcy law” at the University of Antwerp.
In the same year he joined Wijffels, Geuens & De Paep, specialising in maritime law.
In 2003-2004 he worked with Holman Fenwick Willan and Ince & Co in London, as well as with the West of England P&I Club.
Vincent joined Fransen Advocaten (now Fransen Luyten) in 2004.
Since 2011 he is a partner at Fransen Luyten.
Vincent is a member of the General Council of the Belgian Maritime Law Association (BMLA).
He practises commercial law, with a particular emphasis on transport law (maritime law), ship finance and arrest proceedings. In the past years Vincent handled several important collision and arrest cases and was also involved in the ship finance operations of the leading Belgian Ship owners.
He pleads in Dutch, French and English and reads German.
